The weather was wonderful yesterday, so we were able to go over the park by our house (Ft. Benjamin Harrison State Park -- it used to be part of a military base) for a walk. Alaina slept through the whole thing! She opened her eyes once and decided to go back to sleep. It was great for Todd and I to get outside, get some exercise, and be able to have a conversation without any crying in the background. I'm sure we'll do this walk many more times! Hopefully one day Alaina will open her eyes and realize that she's not inside anymore. She's been cooped up so much this winter.
