Last week we went downtown to the Chocolate Festival that benefitted a local youth arts organization. There were about 30 different vendors there presenting their best chocolate desserts. Tickets were $5 per dessert, but we also enjoyed the many samples being offered. It was very crowded to be pushing strollers around, and difficult to get parking, but overall it was a lot of fun and something different to do. Alaina is not smiling because she didn't get any tastes of the chocolate. ;-)
I forgot to mention that as of the 15th, Alaina is 9 months old. Last week she had her 9-month checkup. She is 27 3/4 inches long and weighs 18.5 pounds. She made a lot of friends in the waiting room but did not enjoy being poked and prodded or getting a shot. Go figure.
