Family and Fun in Ohio
We all had a great time visiting family and friends in Ohio earlier this week. Sunday was my birthday, and my parents, Todd, and Todd's dad all went to the Cleveland Browns game together while Linda (Todd's mom) watched Alaina.Alaina loved seeing so many relatives and friends! In addition to both sets of grandparents, she visited with her Aunt Kim and Uncle Tim, Great-Grandma Byrom, and cousin Jack. After all the socializing, Alaina was tired, and all she wanted to do was lounge on the recliner and watch the Indians game:
Alaina loved her grandparents' golden lab! She squealed with excitement whenever she was near. I think she even tried to say "dog" several times. Here she is taking a ride on Nala:
Enjoying time with Uncle Tim and cousin Jack:
Alaina's great-grandma got her a toy just like this one that was at Grandma Linda's house (she'll also be able to walk behind it holding on):
We also got to see Todd's high school friend Jim, wife Dora, and their 2-month-old daughter, Addison. It was great to meet Addison and catch up with them!
As of Monday, Alaina is now 10 months old. She was doing some great army crawling at Grandma and Poppy's house, does a lot of imitation, and is getting very good at standing alone. Today she even pulled herself up on her toy box and then let go and stood.
