Todd's cousin Scott, his wife Lisa, and son Joshua visited us this week. We had lots of fun, including a very competitive dominoes game!
Alaina went to a bowling alley for the first time. It was her fussiest time of day, and we were bad parents and kept her out too late, but she did great. I think she was mesmerized by all the sights and sounds.

She also enjoyed seeing her 11 1/2 month old 2nd cousin, Joshua. Somehow we managed to not get any pictures with Lisa in them, unfortunately!

Alaina is continuing to taste new foods. Last night she had prunes for the second time. She just wanted more and more! Unfortunately, I think that led to her being up a lot last night, likely with a stomachache. No more prunes in the evening for her! But it was fun watching her enjoy them. (By the way, she does have a high chair and will use it, but she seems to enjoy eating on a lap even more. Of course, that's a messy proposition for the feeder!)
Other than that, she still likes to talk a lot and tries to have a conversation with people, enjoys laughing, is very good at sitting unsupported now, can roll all over the room, is experimenting with drinking out of sippy cups, regular cups, and straws (just water so far), and has been blowing a lot of raspberries this week.
