Six Months Old!

Unbelievably, on Friday Alaina turned half a year old. Yes, there have been days when time seemed to move so slowly, but overall the past six months have flown by. I can't believe that in the equivalent amount of time she'll be a year old.

Todd took Friday off and we had a fun day as a family, including a morning walk, some shopping, baby back ribs for dinner, a movie, and ice cream with friends. Alaina also had her first taste of food! She wasn't exactly enjoying it, but she did keep opening her mouth for another taste, so it went pretty well. And look -- in the first photo she even grabbed the spoon and moved it to her own mouth.
