Checkup Today

Alaina had her 2-month checkup today (she's a tad behind schedule due to her hospital stay in January). She got 4 shots plus an oral vaccination. She really hated the oral one. With the shots, her face turned bright red and she held her breath for what seemed like forever before wailing. It was hard to watch.

Today she weighed 12 pounds 8 ounces -- wow! She is 22 1/2 inches long, so she's grown 1 inch since her 1 month checkup (and 2 1/2 since birth).

Oh, and sleep-wise, she didn't do as well last night. She started off great by going 5 1/2 hours between feedings, but after that she kept waking up with bad gas after hardly any time had gone by. After she initially woke up, I did not get much sleep. Hopefully tonight will be better. Not sure what would've made her particularly gassy last night.
