Alaina still loves to dress up, pretend, and pose! She recently held a Fancy Nancy-style fancy class, created her own game, and started her own Ohio Girls Club at home (all her friends are members without even knowing it exists). When I get to spend time alone with her, which is usually during her sister's naptime, I love to color with her, read to her, and cook with her. Her preference is to play with her dollhouse together or pretend to be mermaids.
We've recently gotten into reading classic chapter books together, including several Ramona books and Charlotte's Web. It's been wonderful rediscovering some childhood favorites, and Alaina's attention span for this amazes me. She continues to have a great love of all sorts of books and an expansive vocabulary.
