Alaina went on her first school field trip last week. The kindergarteners went to a farm and got to see all the usual farm animals, plus an old fashioned home. She also took her first bus ride there and back. Todd went along, which meant a lot to Alaina. She is enjoying kindergarten for hte most part. I'm sure it's not fun getting up so early, and she occasionally complains about the rules or that it's hard work (rather than having playtime like in preschool), but she really enjoys many aspects of it (gym, music, art, library, circle time, etc.).
