Fancy Nancy Day

I took Alaina and her friend to a Fancy Nancy event at the library. They had several themed activities that the girls really enjoyed. For those not "in the know" (in term of children's books), Fancy Nancy is a popular children's book character who is known for dressing elegantly and with lots of accessories.

I've decided that if Alaina is going to have such long hair, it's my obligation to learn some fun new ways to style it. I was going to do a more Fancy Nancy-esque style but it would've required more time and expertise than I have. So I concocted something fancy but easier and liked the way it turned out.
