We attended a wonderful event at a friend's church for the second year in a row last night. It's called A Night in Bethlehem, and they try to recreate what the town of Bethlehem might have been like when Jesus was born. There are stations all around where the kids can make jewelry, sample food, help make bread, do weavings, listen to storytellers, pay taxes, make "pottery," and they can also see the stable and animals and Mary, Joseph, and Jesus. They had a couple camels that Alaina enjoyed seeing. A very unique holiday activity to do with kids!
