Recent Photos

We got a new camera back in December, so I've been playing around with it and just trying to take more pictures and experiment. It's been fun, but the flip side is that the images themselves are larger files, which means they take up more space on my ancient computer, take more time to upload to this site, and so on. So that combined with the cold, snowy weather (which means we've had less photo-worthy excursions) explains the lack of posting lately. I promise to try and do better!


Am I a cool mom or what? I took out Alaina's mattress and let her jump on it on the floor, and then we propped it up against her crib so she could climb up and slide down. Eventually, safety concerns prevailed and we stopped doing it, but she had a blast at the time.

We have an old couch and loveseat in Alaina's playroom area, and Alaina loves to take all the cushions off and build paths, mountains, forts, "hopscotch," and much more. Just one of the creative ways we try to make staying inside fun on these cold days!

Playing with Daddy (we'll see how long he lets me keep this up here since neon yellow isn't the greatest shirt color). I think it's a cute photo of them, though.
