We made my friend Stacey's delicious sugar cookie recipe on the 23rd while watching White Christmas, one of my favorite Christmas movies. Alaina loved sneaking tastes of icing.
This was on Christmas morning, right after we showed Alaina a pile of crumbs on the plate of cookies she had left for Santa. She is about to open her present from Santa but is still a bit mystified by the whole experience:
