This is Alaina playing with her friend Sam. He's just a month younger than her. I met Sam's mom, Michelle, on a local moms' web site when Alaina was about 5-6 months old. We've gotten together about once a month ever since, mostly meeting at the park for walks, time on the playground, or for lunch or to play at our houses. It is so nice to have friends to meet up with -- it really helps me stay more upbeat when I get out of the house and talk to other people, especially those I can relate to. Alaina and Sam were both really fussy babies with acid reflux, so we talked a lot about that at first.
