Weekend Pics

Last weekend we drove over to Columbus where I got to catch up with my college roommate of three years, Sarah. We had girls' night on Friday and spent time with the guys on Saturday. Alaina stayed up late with us and then slept great in the pack n play for a change! It was so fun being with my sweet friend.

Crazy picture -- Alaina had something for dinner with peas in it and I had the brilliant idea to put a pea in her belly button. (She'll probably have repressed resentment toward me for this someday.) You may have to enlarge the photo to get the full impact.

Lastly, we have a dwarf Korean lilac tree in our backyard that is in full bloom right now and looks and smells wonderful. We had fun showing the blooms to Alaina and letting her smell them.
