Still Enjoying Spring

Alaina loves exploring all the plants in our yard. One of our bushes exploded with flowers this week, and she loves looking at them, touching them, and smelling them.


It's so nice to be able to get outside regularly now. Alaina also loves to look at her shadow and wave at it.

How did this get here? This is completely inappropriate!!! Alaina was fascinated by a fire hydrant recently, but by the time I snapped the picture she had already retreated.

This is a blue heron that regularly hangs out on the pond in our backyard. A month or so ago there were 5 white and blue herons around the pond. It must've been the annual Hoosier Heron Convention. ;-)
