New Old Pictures

These pictures are a few weeks old now, but I still thought some of you would enjoy them. These are from the weekend Todd's parents visited in January.

Alaina loves pushing her doll in her little stroller:

Talking on her phone (for some reason she loves talking on pretend phones but won't say anything on real ones):

And my favorite one -- here she is helping me unload the silverware from the dishwasher (she likes to hand forks and spoons to me), but it looks like she is plotting her next act of mischief!

We had a great weekend! My parents came for the weekend to help us bring home a new dresser that we bought off the floor from a local store. They also watched Alaina on Saturday night while we enjoyed dinner out. Hopefully they got some good pictures that I can post soon from their visit. Alaina loved playing with them and showing them every toy she owns!

Alaina's got 4 top teeth and 4 1/2 bottom teeth now. As of about a week ago, she's now also walking with confidence and of her own initiation rather than by being prodded, cheerleaded, and manipulated into doing it. She kind of alternates between a Frankenstein walk and an Otis from The Andy Griffith Show walk, but she is getting around very well. She loves making animal noises and imitating things like when I say "hmmm...." She has some new words like "snack" and "cheese." She and I were both sick with a cold for about a week following my last posting, but we are doing much better now. We should be able to get out more this week as a result.
